21 Day Fast In Solidarity with Zimbabwe

When I started the 21 day fast in solidarity with Zimbabwe, I did the first five days as a meditative fast, then asked people on facebook to sign the petition at www.one.org to "bail me out of my fast" for one day. The response was so big, I've been bailed out of my fast and then some.

I'm not fasting anymore, but I did learn a few things while fasting that I think will last me the rest of my life.

Fundraiser a huge Success!

We held a New Years Eve Fundraiser For the benifit of Campbellford Ontario. We raised funds for a new skateboard park for the children of this town and it was a great evening. Ken Tizzard of "the Watchmen and Ian Thornley Fame was there with his new band as well as Loudlove an amazing band from Ottawa, Ontario. The party was fabulous and came off without a hitch. The G8 Summit is wrapping up in Japan, with little progress on poverty, climate change, or the food price crisis, and Canada is partly to blame.
