Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment

The link between Mind and Social / Environmental-Issues.

The fast-paced, consumerist lifestyle of Industrial Society is causing exponential rise in psychological problems besides destroying the environment. All issues are interlinked. Our Minds cannot be peaceful when attention-spans are down to nanoseconds, microseconds and milliseconds. Our Minds cannot be peaceful if we destroy Nature.

International AIDS Candlelight Memorial

We are pleased to take this opportunity to announce this year's theme

for the 2010 Candlelight Memorial: "Many Lights for Human Rights", which

was voted on by our Board during our annual meeting in Accra. We feel

this theme captures the collective movement of the Candlelight to move

to action in the drive for access to treatment, care, and prevention, in

addition to the elimination of stigma and discrimination. It also aligns

with the UNAIDS 2009 World AIDS Day… Continue

At the request of my fiance

At the request of my fiance I will through the holidays sustain a weight of 135-140 lbs. This is substantially under my normal weight of about 155-160 lbs on my 5'10 frame. I am staying on a restricted diet because I am committed to seeing that justice is done and the Charter is adhered to. As my fiance reminded me - the Ombudsman and the Office of the Justice of the Peace Review Board are currently investigating the events. Though a letter or email from the Premier confirming that an… Continue

Dec 15 2009

I can no longer kid myself that I actually can make it down to the court house to physically protest on my own steam anymore. I am experiencing dizzy spells( / mini blackouts?) just to get up out of bed, to make myself a tea or to get some water right now and they are not getting better. I did very little physical exertion on the weekend in the hopes that I would at least be able to make it down to the courthouse for a few more days, just not physically able is all so I will put forth a request… Continue

Dec 14 2009

Well really feeling physicaly weak right now but still not giving up. Lots of dizzy spells and feelings of light headedness

Had to make a few phone calls this morning to various government agencies. First one was to the Justice of the Peace Review Board and apparently all the transcripts and such from the laying of an information by me and my witnesses back on August 18, 2009 are being examined by them as well as His Worships Hugh Brown's actions.

Kinda seems similar to a Worship Paul… Continue

Message from Bob Geldof, ONE Campaigner

sign the petition

Dear ONEers,

The Copenhagen climate change summit is now underway. It is imperative that the necessary decisions and actions are taken. Key among these is to allocate adequate additional resources to enable the developing countries, which with inevitable unfairness are worst affected, to cope with the effects of climate change.

Please click here to sign ONE’s petition to the Danish Prime Minister to take the lead in doing so:…

Dec 10, 2009

Protest outside of Court House canceled today due to the high winds.

To try and protest with signs strapped to my body would be just dangerous given my reduced strength, but might be a fairly fun ride "para-sailing" with my hunger strike signs.

The hunger strike is still in effect.

Where are the politicians right now ,local offices opened one day closed the next for vague reasons well if they would like to respond to anything that is posted here by all means they are our elected… Continue

Am still strong and will be out infront of the Court House tomorrow with orange coloured signs after all it is almost Week number… Continue

Day 12 of the Hunger Strike

Reduced hours due to the inclement weather and fatigue on my body. I seem to have bottomed out at around 135 lbs. I saw that Andrea Horwath has closed her office for a "professional developement week." Funny that it was open on Monday. How do I know this? Because I called her office on Monday and spolke to her secretary.

What can the good people do? Call a politician! Write a letter! Inquire at the ombudsmans office! Let's stop another OLG or EHealth scandle. Let's send Dalton packin… Continue

Dec. 08 2009 - events of the day

few interesting events of the day well lets see a bunch of students were there and they heard me and asked some questions etc so i explained what I was out there for Our Charter for when it is ignored for one it is ignored for all. As I am speaking to the students one of their teachers made what I can only guess was a gesture insinuating I was crazy well after spending about 15 minutes outside with them they understood why and the funny thing was thatsome were actually chearing "Go Dan" as they… Continue

Day 10 Here we go Again

Well Folks looks like the Liberal Government is doing what it does best sticking its head in the sand instead of facing the problem of corruption head on. Where is the federal government they must know by now I'm out there ooops not yet but Sharron from the Omsbudsman's office knows as well as Andrea Horwath and a slew of other people whom we all elected to look out for us, not to mention am pretty sure that upon taking up an elected psoition they do take an oath to uphold the Charter as do the… Continue
