I can no longer kid myself that I actually can make it down to the court house to physically protest on my own steam anymore. I am experiencing dizzy spells( / mini blackouts?) just to get up out of bed, to make myself a tea or to get some water right now and they are not getting better. I did very little physical exertion on the weekend in the hopes that I would at least be able to make it down to the courthouse for a few more days, just not physically able is all so I will put forth a request for the temporary donation of a wheelchair so I can be wheeled down to the courthouse and wheeled back if that is what it takes. If I have to pay an individual for the use of said wheelchair I am sure we can work it out. I am not done with this plight for equality in the justice system.
I say justice system for it is not just one part or one sector but all three sectors of those who report to the Attorney General. We as Canadian Citizens employ these people through the Attorney General's ministry to act without favour, to act according to the Charter, to act as the law states they should and to not throw the law out the window when it casually suits them or when another government service has dropped the ball or acted heinously, we pay their salaries their wages through our taxes on a daily and hourly basis. We expect them to act always within the letter of the law and when they are caught acting outside the law should they not be held accoutable the same as if it was you or me? or are we as citizens willing to settle for a tainted version of Justice?
What the "Events" clearly shows us is that some of those who work for the Ministry of the Attorney General have failed us all misserably and care little for the law which they are paid to uphold protect and adhere to.
Why is Ms. Horwath's office now issuing the Statement " No Comment" to this whole situation? When a politician says no comment isn't it time we ask " As our publicly elected voice why are you saying no comment to very serious allegations made about the Ministry of the Attorney General? Or How is Premier Dalton responding to these allegations?"
I ask you good people to keep the pressure up on these politicians and let them know that if you are employed by the government you work for us and given that money is tight all over we expect the very best value for our hard earned tax dollars which pay their wage.
Again I have not given up but am putting forth a request for the temporary donation of a wheelchair to get back and forth from the courthouse but failing that I will continue the fight for equality through any legal means at my disposal
Thanks again for your continued support and to those going through the courthouse with Charter and or abuse of process issues our thoughts are with you!
