Early settlers brought Burdock to the U.S. American Indians included this vegetable in their gardens. Today, it can be found growing wild in many parts of the country. Burdock is an edible root, native to Europe, Asia and Japan. Actually, the leaves and tender, young stems are edible, too. Roots can be eaten raw or cooked. Leaves and stems are usually cooked like spinach.…

My Interests
I am a fifty-eight year old lady. I am a mother of five and I have eight grandchildren. Through my lifetime I have tried my hand at book publishing and screenplay writing, but I find myself enjoying my new hobby now that the kids are grown of making videos to show work that I have done and extend my obsession with photography in video form.
I first started with a youtube channel under Dorisanne13. On top of doing short commercial videos about my screenplays I have…

Ayden's ride - summer of 2013.
At 14, Ayden admits he could never have gotten this far without the help of doctors, nurses, therapists and organizations who all in some way were supported by the United Way.
Thanks to these organizations Ayden maintains a personal presence, is able to stand tall, on his own, as an individual, and at 14 he wants to give back.
He wants to raise money in the name of the United Way by putting himself through the gruelling ordeal of traversing Canada…

I recently had to endure the giant axe of domestic violence world. If your a male and you get thrown into the unfair justice system, I feel for you. I am totally against violence against anyone, including women children and men. A small argument and a kleenex box thrown in anger has changed four lives. A home is going to be lost, wife and kids put out into the street and the court system does not care. My wife does not want what happened and I can't go home for 15 months. this is on top of…

A few days ago I let you know about the lawsuit launched by Tom Martin. Now a couple of days later the Guardian ran a story called "We need gender studies to battle inequality across the board." The Guardian in their infinite wisdom decided not think to ask the man, who is suing the London School of Economics, for his take on sexism in the education system. People spoke out about the paper not asking for Tom's input on this topic,. Incredibly short sighted move on…

Here we have a man suing one of the most famous schools of economics. He has already received quite a few write ups in some newspapers. Before we get to the newspaper clippings lets look at Toms youtube vid first. Really quite an eye opener. Pay particular attention to the 5 minute mark in the video.
So from Tom's video we can see that society is asleep regarding men's issues. He lists about…
