2nd Annual Fix Our World Festival

Fix Our World Foundation is a non-partisan and non-denominational organization based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada that utilizes the use of the internet, events, concerts, festivals etc.. to connect with individuals, organizations, clubs, bands.. worldwide, creating campaigns and initiatives that are meant to empower and reinforce all beings to become an active part of the solution to fix and restore our world.

Our organization is focused on achieving our goals through education, motivation, mobilization and lends support to individuals and organizations local and global who are in need. We promote local talent, artists and honour all who are making a difference.

Sept 4 our theme is Peace starting at 4pm to 10pm
Sept 5 Poverty Walk sign up with Fix Our World llannigan@gmail.com starts at The Globe on McNab and Main leading to Pier 4 Bayfront Park for 12noon. $10 entry funds go to charity. An incredible day of music, fun interactive stations, Workshops, (ie)Briscoe Music Interactive Electronic DJ Workshop, Skateboard Park,

Sept 6 This year we are teaming up with Labour Council in support of creating solutions for the job loss in our City, great bands, 2-4pm Popeyes Golden Theory Workshop and more..

Sept 7 with Labour Day Parade all are invited to join us in the Fix Our World Section leading to Dundurn Park, call and confirm if you want to participant. Line-up at 9:30 am Second section of parade lineup location TBA

Our Events
Second, along with our interactive website, we organize events, concerts and festivals where artists, musicians, organizations, schools, youth groups, clubs, local business, unite to educate our citizens through displays, workshops, guest speakers, technology, focusing on youth, our future generation.


This is also a way of honouring our community members who are making a difference in these areas, gaining recognition and support for them.

Chapters
We are reaching out to others to become a Fix Our World Chapter and mirror our events. Each event will be linked on our Web page to show the struggles and accomplishments each area faces and achieves.


Our Events are annual where we will update each year the changes that have been made and where help is needed both locally and globally in an effort to Fix Our World. Lastly, we are involving local schools, groups, etc.. asking them to make a banner for the issue(s) of their choice to be signed by their staff, students, etc.. and later will be sent to the G8 Leaders at an upcoming G8 summit. This campaign will be ongoing until our leaders commit to the Millennium Development Goals.
