Leave it better off than when I came in... ideally, I see myself well-suited to straddling the nexus of security and development, with a healthy dose of diplomacy. If I can help make it safer for other world-fixers to do their thing, then that's something I want to do.

Please Check out my blog hunger strike started Nov. 28 2009 for reasons outlined there.
I've been tied up in my studies for the last while, learning how to help fix our world... now I've got a BIG project for Halifax... and I want to start a chapter of FixOurWorld HERE in Halifax, NS...
FairPlay Festival -> which essentially packages the FixOurWorld Festival's goals with the delivery and broad-based appeal of Right To Play (www.righttoplay.ca). The Festival will draw families and communities as children participate in a broad array of actual games taken right from the manual of the Right To Play Day, all day long, finishing with a benefit concert. If there is anybody out there who had experience in putting together a festival like this PLEASE feel free to be in touch!!
I'd love to be involved in linking Hali with the Hammer in Fixing Our World... I'm part of local societies and will see what we can come up with here!!
Please be in touch, my email is: followthemap@gmail.com
Please help by hosting an event in your area. 1st Annual Fix Our World Festival Benefit Concert Sept 27, 2008 or by 2010. We are raising money for 4 local and 4 global organizations who are making a difference. Mission Services The Hamilton AIDS Network, SISO, Environment Hamilton, Make Poverty HIstory, The Stephen Lewis Foundation, World Vision, The David Suzuki Foundation.
We want all of the groups to have a carnival feel to their table with information as well as some kind of activity to give them tools to become active members of our society.
We are asking people around the world to hold events on the same dates and are planning to have this event held across Canada by 2010 to show Canada wants Change! We want these events linked live if possible.
