Hamilton Friendship Association with Cuba

Dear members and friends,

Just a quick note to remind you that the HFAC would like to welcome you to our holiday open house, this Saturday December 15 from 3-5pm at the Artword Artbar, 15 Colbourne St.

We hope you will join us for some light refreshments and informal discussion of ongoing events in Cuba. As well, the executive and the Community Committee will announce the HFAC's exciting program for Black History Month, 2013.

The event is free, but donations to the Canadian Network on Cuba's Hurricane Sandy relief fund will be accepted. There will also be a cash bar.

We are happy to let you know that gritLIT, Hamilton’s Literary Festival, will be at the Artbar Friday and Saturday, for their second annual Holiday Book and Gift Sale. We hope our guests will take the time during the open house to visit the sale.

GritLit does much to promote new and emerging authors in the city and the country.

We look forward to seeing you this weekend and wish you a safe and happy new year!
