The Story

Caitlyn is a 6 year old that loves life and lives it to the In February 2014 every parents worst nightmare happened she was diagnosed with acute lymphoma leukemia, it was heartbreaking to see our daughter so sick. She had 13 blood transfusions and 6 plasma transfusions. We spent 2 months in the London's Children's Hospital. She still takes a chemotherapy medicine nightly and a stronger one weekly. She was doing amazing until her test results Now Caitlyn's best chance is a stem cell/ bone morrow transplant unfortunately since she isn't terminal the government won't pay for it. The Surgical costs are $32,562

We created this YOUCARING Crowdfunding page in December 2016 in hopes of making a miracle and raising the money to get our daughter this transplant and back to being a normal child. Plus us not having to worry she won't have a future. Any amount will help, no donation is too small.

So far this fund has raised just over $8,000 so

Larry Pomerantz felt the need to help and contacted David Davidson from the popular band The American Rogues. we decided to do our share and help the best way we know how through our music Dave immediately called in some of his friends also popular local talents from Hamilton.  They created the event  BANDS BATTLING CHILDHOOD CANCER April 9th  2pm - 6pm  at The Corktown  175 Young St Hamilton
