Event Description

Canada World Youth volunteers are organizing an impromptu flash mob at Dundas Square in Toronto (at the Intersection of Dundas St and Yonge Street) on Tuesday December 1st, 2009. The actual flash mob will start at 4pm but we’ll be starting to organize/orient ourselves earlier than the general public.

December 1 is HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. To help us in this effort, we need you to WEAR RED and help us form a large red ribbon that will be filmed from above. People can wear red shirts over their coats and bring red hats/bandanas/ or any red material they can wave around. We’ll be doing our best to bring media out to the event and hopefully it will demonstrate to policy makers and the general public that their fellow citizens are concerned about the many interconnected issues related to HIV/AIDS.

Please come to Dundas Square dressed in RED and spread the word!
