To spread awareness on factory farming, animal rights and veganism.

To globally promote refraining from eating meat, poultry, fish/seafood and animal bi-products.

To educate people worldwide on how to love and respect all animals and wildlife.

To pass a legislation for all governments to halt the advertisements of raw flesh/meat appearances on any marketing medium.

If you can't make it out to the festival on July 24th you can host your own event in your area!
You also are able to webcast your event for the world to see.

How?
First you must register for your event. This way everyone will know where your event is being held through the Animal Freedom Day website.

You must decide where you are going to host the event.

You can use the AFD Invite Template which allows you to inform a venue, community centre, school, etc. about this day/event. This template is an attachment that can act as a proposal for each facility to decide to partake in the Animal Freedom Day U Stream broadcast, and allow you to host the event there.

Where?
Try and host the webcast at a local location, such as a school, community centre, venue, or even a house.

Who?
Make sure to invite everyone you know to watch our event on U Stream or come and join us in Burlington!

You are encouraged to create your own Facebook event page for your local event for Animal Freedom Day.
You can also become a fan/follower of Animal Freedom Day on Facebook and/or Twitter.
It is best to post Animal Freedom Day on your Twitter/Facebook, e-mail the information about this day, and text your network about the webcast, etc
