Laughing Kathryn from Laugh Yourself Healthy will be doing 15 minute Laughter Yoga introductions on the half hour from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Fix Our World.
Laughter Yoga is a unique combination of laughter exercises, deep yogic breathing (no poses) clapping and child-like play. I guarantee you will walk away with rosy cheeks; eyes twinkling; impish grins; new friends, friendly smiles and the air acquiring the fragrance of joy.
If you are into laughter for joy, peace, harmony and great health be sure to check out this transformational experience.
Very good, very good, YEAH!
All ages are welcome. No mats or special clothing required, only a willingness to laugh and water to keep you hydrated.

Join us at the Fix Our World Festival for The Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology

Water Relay Race

Children will have the opportunity to participate in testing water samples and running a relay race with a Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology interpreter! The Water Relay Race represents the Hamilton Waterworks which carried water from Lake Ontario to homes and businesses in the city from 1859 to 1910. The participants will squeeze their way through filters and pipes just as water would! Come on out and have a splashing good time!

The Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology is pleased to participate in this year’s fix Our World Festival. The museum is a  place where visitors can take a peek into life at the beginning of Canada's industrial revolution. The site features magnificent examples of 19th century public works architecture including two 45-foot high, 70-ton steam engines which pumped the first clean water to the city over 140 years ago. One engine operates as a demonstration every day!

The only surviving facility of its time in North America, the museum is a National Historic Site and a Civil and Power Engineering Landmark. These Canadian made engines are the oldest surviving examples in the nation.

The museum offers various permanent and changing exhibits. They also feature a wide range of special events that are fun for the whole family.

I'm happy to organize a Cargo Bike Roll Call for Hamilton for the Fix Our World Festival. Anyone and everyone in Hamilton with a cargo bike, cargo trike or bicycle/trailer combination is invited to show up on Sunday Sept 15 to meet, greet and share the wonderful utility of cargo bikes and biking. Those of us who have a cargo bike of some sort--bicycle trailer (kid trailer or cargo trailer), longtail, long john, bakfiets, newspaper/butcher/personal delivery bike, or cargo trike--know how wonderful these human-powered vehicles are. Let's meet one another and share our cargo bikes, stories, accomplishments, and dreams with each other and with other Hamiltonians. If we can inspire more people to add a cargo bike, trike or trailer to their lives, we can make a direct and significant impact on fossil fuel use, carbon emissions, safe streets (incl. congestion, parking, road wear, pedestrian & cycling infrastructure), as well as the health of ourselves and our communities.

CJ CREATIVE PRODUCTIONS INC.

will be selling The Cycling Route Book, Book 1 Revised for $10.00 and cycling accessories.
