On behalf of the "Great Nibi Gathering" Planning Committee we are pleased to invite everyone to attend the four day gathering on July 14-17 at Ojibway Park in Garden River First Nation, ON. Everyone is welcome as we come together to discuss and express our care and concern for the Waters of the Great Lakes.
We are calling together all members of the Anishinaabe Nations including the Ojibway, the Odawa and the Potawattomi peoples and the Metis all around the Great Lakes. We are also inviting members of the general public who have an interest and knowledge to share about protecting the Great Lakes.
We intend to gather, compile and share information regarding the state of health of our waters and make collective decisions as to what needs to be done to protect them.
