Sat 1pm Tribal Thunder!

Tribal Thunder​!  Oscar De Los Santos (aka Oz), originally from South America, is a noted artist, poet, inventor, musician, and Medicine man, as well as the youngest recognized Elder for the Six Nations people. A teacher for 14 years at the Aboriginal Health Centre in both Hamilton and Brantford, Oz is the founder of Tribal Thunder and author and teacher of the Spiritual Warriors Road Way.

Sat 5pm Perpetual Peace Project

The Aim
The goal is to share and sustain in that highest most balanced state of being. That there happiness, or light, or love, or call it what you will, that excited state of being where everything is its most alright. That "yeah!" state. That, this is good and the world is friendly kind of being. That, "the world is friendly and I'm alright" sort of being. That, life is a gift and I am an act of gratitude sort of being. The, "we live together in this reality and let's measure our time in shared joy" sort of state. The goal is that this generation and future generations live in a state of shared happiness. The goal is to generate harmony through music and love.

How
The theory being proposed is that we the people experience life through patterns of vibrations and that in essence, our being is a pattern of vibration. Music, being a pattern of vibration, can facilitate felt experience. Through our music, we can create patterns that facilitate a better life, a better quality of life. To accomplish this we plan on playing music forever with the intention of creating a better world for future generations. The jam, or musical conversation, will keep going indefinitely, infinitely.

Your music is creating a vibration that affects my music and our music is creating a vibration that affects their music and so on. This is an acknowledgement that we are connected in a very real physical sense (see links to learn more about quantum physics).

12:10 Sunday

On Sunday Sept 6 Yaya Maria del Carmen will conduct the ceremony of the Archangels of the Solar Wheel. This is a non denominational but ancient practice with roots in the ancient mystic and magic Mediterranean. The session will begin with a 30 minute introduction and the ceremony will start at Solar Noon which is at 12:10 pm. This Wheel works on the same principles that Native Medicine Wheels and Archangels Raphael, Michael, Gabriel and Uriel are invoked to stand in the four points of the compass as the four rulers of time and of the four elements. La Gran Humareda, the Big Smoke may burn for an hour and is an offering to Spirit and to the community. This fragrant smoke works on the same principles that a mandala offering and that native smudge. It is prepared only two- three times a year in special occasions because of the size, the complexity, the labor and the cost of the ingredients. The holy smoke cleanses and brings abundance of blessing to all, attracts good fortune and dispels misfortune.

Aboriginal Artist, Trevor Wayne Owen, born September 17, 1970 in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. I am status Mi'kmaq, Chapel Island First Nation, Nova Scotia Canada, as well as being from Mohawk descent. I am self-taught in art, poetry and photography. I am currently working with and involved in the Aboriginal Community. I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as being one with Nature.
