 motes the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour beginni
 ng at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 31st to deliver a powerful message 
 about the need for action on global warming.\nThe City will lead by ex
 ample and will turn off all unnecessary lighting in corporate faciliti
 es, as well as the decorative downtown tree lighting. Street lighting
