 ), McMaster Student, originally from Liberia who was torn from his fam
 ily at 15years old and lived in refugee camps for 8years survived 2 wa
 rs alone and managed to make it to Canada 3 years ago. As soon as he s
 tepped on our soil he saw the problems in our City and started making 
 a difference\n\n(Eg) He helps youth get into University through his ho
 mework club, connects with homeless youth empowers and shows them bett
 er choices, helps people in Poverty, Raises money and awareness for HI
 V/AIDS, gives youth a forum to use their voices through his youth ran

 rg\n\n**I was just talking to Leo about a new project he is working on
 . During our conversation I noticed he sounded sick. He told me that h
 e was due to stress.\n\nLast year he found out that his family was ali
 ve in Liberia and has only been able to contact them through phone.\n\
 nHe just got news a few days ago that his Dad was involved in a seriou
 s accident and had to be flown out to another area for emergency surge
 ry where he was placed in an induced coma.\n\nHe is just coming out of
  it now and Doctors will inform Leo of his condition soon. His Dad is 
 going to need long term rehabilitation. Leo is the only person who can
  help his family financially and needs help to pay for the Hospital co
 sts, recovery etc.\n\nI would like to help Leo through some fundraiser
 s to take some of the burden off this young man who is doing so much f
 or our City, even through this stressful time,\nLet's STEP UP and show
  him we appreciate him and help when HE NEEDS US.\n\nCan you help me t
